Real Wedding: Gorge Crest Vineyards Wedding of Megan and Dan

Good morning lovely readers! It's Whitney, and I'm so excited to finally have my first post as a contributor to the blog. I couldn't be happier that I get to feature the wedding of Megan and Dan. Their venue, Gorge Crest Vineyards is absolutely stunning and all the details are enough to make you swoon sideways. Ryan from You Look Nice Today Photography was kind enough to share this gorgeous gallery with us.

From the bride, Megan:

We've lived in Portland for almost seven years. We moved here within a month of each other from different places, and met soon after. We love Hood River, especially in the fall when all of the fruit is being harvested, so having a fall wedding in the area was no brainer.

The sweeping views of the vineyards are stunning.

The seating chart is wonderful, and was made by the bride.

Cornhole is a game I've seen popping up more and more during receptions. Another DIY project from the couple.

All in all, a gorgeous, rustic Gorge wedding to send you off into the end of the week. With pie!

  3. The "Apple on Chair" photo really got me, why??, apples are my favorite. Great ideas putting it in a chair, if I am there at the wedding, I will surely eat mine on the spot. ;-0

  5. Very nice color combinations. I wouldn't have thought that deep shade of plum and orange works but it does. The wedding looks very down to earth, homey but beautiful.
