Inspired by Watercolors

Over the holiday break I met with one of my 2012 brides - their wedding is going to be so much fun, I love the aesthetic which is inspired by the colors of Patagonia.  It holds a special meaning to them since they lived in South America for 6 months and got engaged on a cliff against a backdrop of mountain, sea and sky and the gorgeous hues of blues and greens that almost look like a watercolor.   My wheels are spinning thinking about the possibilities of incorporating all of those colors through various watercolor details.  I've been seeing some inspirational ideas out there lately that might guide us in our decor - I'm ready to start crafting!

Loving this DIY watercolor bridesmaid invite - could be applied in so many ways

This project is a must - DIY watercolor votives!

These water color invites and the entire wedding for that matter are bursting with color!

A splash of watercolor for table numbers

I really love the idea of a watercolor paint-by-number guest book too!  So many projects...it's a good thing their wedding is in August.

Check back tomorrow for a fabulous real Hood River/Gorge wedding!
